Your pet’s second (air-conditioned) house
Pet-tinati welcomes you to our cosy, air-conditioned waiting room. Your little friend will have a chance to get used to the new environment and be ready for grooming. Our team will handle your friend’s treatment and take time to get to know your pet. Our main goal is always animal well-being. Experience has taught us that grooming is not only for the purpose of aesthetics and hygiene, but also for control and prevention. Groomers play an especially important role in your companion’s health, since they see your pet more frequently than the vet, their eye is objective and is trained to observe, if we have any concerns, we will tell you. Maintenance treatments, as well as treatments before shows or competitions are offered. Service is individual and thorough. To avoid unnecessary waiting and ensure complete safety, we work by appointment only.
Everything we know we’ve learned from dogs and cats
I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand
The service we offer is fully tailored and puts the physical and emotional well-being of our furry clients first
We offer a bespoke service for the physical and emotional well-being of the animals we treat. We assess the type of coat, skin, age, lifestyle and temperament of the animal, selecting safe and certified products and treatments to suit all. This is why it is recommended to plan regular grooming sessions based on the type of animal, so that the skin and coat can preserve their protective and thermoregulatory role. We co-operate and work in synergy with various veterinary practices.
Paola Martini (BA Hons Management)
My professional choice has deep roots: since my childhood, my dream was to take care of animals and their well-being. I used to spend every moment I had in contact with nature on farms and at livery stables.
My professional training started in London, where I lived for 18 years, opening up to different cultures and traditions.
While working in the field of Luxury Retail at Harrods Ltd. in London, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of the Arts.
Over the past 10 years, in my spare time I have been involved in volunteer work at the “Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre,” a riding and hippotherapy centre for autistic children and people with disabilities, sponsored by Queen Elizabeth.
In 2015 I received the “Silver Award” from the Pony Centre in recognition of my commitment and dedication to animal care and hygiene.
This is where my dog grooming training started, with qualified teachers such as Patricia Holden White (Accredited Animal Behaviourist ABTC, member of the APDT Association of Professional Dog Trainers UK, TCBTS The Canine Behaviour & Training Society as well as examiner of the Kennel Club GCDS), Dima Yeremenko and Suzanne Collins, member of the APDT and BIPDT as well as owner of one of the first grooming salons in London.
I returned to Italy in 2015 and opened PET-TINATI Grooming Salon. My professional development is continuous, always evolving in parallel with my work.
